This hotel was a delightful time capsule, with its preserved historical format and old-world charm. Exploring the hotel itself, with its collection of historic pictures and period furniture, felt like stepping back in time. The shared bathroom facilities were consistently clean and well-maintained, making it convenient to not have my own bathroom. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city on foot, being close to Pier 39, the bay, and the cable car stop to downtown.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy, well-decorated hotel. The room and bed were comfortable and impeccably clean. The shared bathrooms were always spotless, equipped with toiletries, and even had complimentary mouthwash. The staff was friendly, pleasant, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The location was perfect, on a quiet street but just a short walk away from the lively cafes, restaurants, and bars of Little Italy. Additionally, we enjoyed the convenience of having a nearby cafe with a great breakfast menu.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, as it was within walking distance of many tourist attractions and close to the Pier 39. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing me with all the information I needed about the hotel and the general area. The room was clean and comfortable, with a charming old-fashioned style. The shared restrooms and showers were not an issue at all, as they were clean and I never had to wait. the hotel had a wonderful atmosphere and I enjoyed my time there.
